Tour Itinerary

01

Day 01: Arrival in Moshi or Arusha

You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged hotel in Moshi or Arusha town. You will meet your guide who will brief you on your Africa Safari tour. You will spend the rest of your time at your won leisure and relaxation.

02

Day 2 : Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Unless your arrival time yesterday allowed time for your safari briefing, then this will take place after breakfast. We will provide you with all the essential information, before we set off westwards to our first safari destination, Tarangire National Park. The park is best known for its elephant herds, savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests are often seen. With a bit of luck you might even spot the fringe-eared oryx or the weird-looking gerenuk. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen every once in a while but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In late afternoon, we will go to your accommodation for our evening meal and our overnight stay. Welcome to the Tarangire!

03

Day 3 : Tarangire NP – Karatu Town (135 Km/2.30 Hrs Drive)

After a hearty breakfast you will head out on another game drive in the Tarangire National Park. During the dry season between June and October, the Tarangire River is the only permanent source of water and the wildlife tends to concentrate in its vicinity. You will stop at one of the picnic spots for lunch. In the afternoon, you leave this beautiful park behind. Passing through the multi-cultural town of Mto wa Mbu, the higher lands are soon reached and wonderful views of the Masai Plains and the Lake Manyara open up before you. After the obligatory photo stop, you will make your way to the vegetation-rich crater highlands, Accommodation at karatu town.

04

Day 4 : Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park (53Km/1Hr – 145Km/3.5Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and down into the Ngorongoro Crater. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours, you have the chance of spotting the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard). After extensive game viewing and a picnic in the crater, you will leave the highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and continue to the Serengeti. You will soon see the seemingly endless plains of the southern Serengeti and finally reach the Seronera Valley in the central Serengeti. The lodge of your choice will be your home for the next three nights.

5-6

Day 5-6: Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

These two days are dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Your guide will take you to the best spots to observe the wildlife. Elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topi, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and many more can be seen in this large national park. Especially in the Seronera Valley you will be able to experience fantastic game viewing all year round. The Serengeti, together with the Masai Mara in Kenya, is also home to the largest animal migration on the planet.

07

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Arusha

If time allows, you will head out on a last game drive in the early morning. After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your guide will take you to the airstrip. Here you will say goodbye and board a small aircraft which will take you back to Arusha. Connecting flights to Tanzania’s coast or islands can be arranged by us at a surcharge.

You bet they are. Tanzania is one of Africa’s most stable countries. You’ll be welcomed by its friendly people and always taken care of by attentive staff. After full days of wildlife viewing, rest up at handpicked camps and lodges, which offer authentic African charm and modern-day conveniences.

We provide free bottled water at all camps and during all wildlife-viewing drives. You can also purchase bottled water at all lodges.

There are more bugs in many places in the U.S. than you will encounter on safari! As in North America, deet-based repellents and citronelle-based products work well if you encounter mosquitoes or other small insects..

For medical advice, it’s always best to consult your doctor. Most travelers receive a vaccination for yellow fever and ant malarial pills. Keep in mind that you’ll be staying in camps and lodges designed to accommodate American and European guests.

Northern Tanzania! Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, has one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in the world. The vast plains of Serengeti National Park also host a myriad of wildlife, especially during the wildebeest migration.!

All kinds! You will see the animals you’ve always dreamed of encountering on safari—zebra, elephant, hippo, giraffe, lion, warthog, wildebeest, and so much more.

Tanzania has the best year-round wildlife viewing, and we adjust our itineraries, departure dates, and accommodations based on wildlife migration patterns. In Tanzania, any time is a wonderful time to be on safari. Of course, there are seasonal variations, but you’ll always see a lot of animals.

The Great Migration is a year-round phenomenon where vast herds of mammals, mainly wildebeest, gazelle, and zebra, move around the Serengeti in search of food and water. The driving force of the migration is rain, making it difficult to predict.

Hakuna matata! No worries! Plenty of awe-inspiring moments present themselves whenever you travel in Tanzania. Even if you don’t happen to see the Great Migration, you’ll still see an abundance of wildlife.

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure your spot. This is especially important for travelers booking private safaris or adding extensions to their trips.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for your safari deposit. The remaining balance to be paid on your arravial

Your safari land packages will include all accommodations, meals, bottled water with meals and on wildlife-viewing drives, airport transfers, park fees, and services of guides and drivers. Additional costs not provided may include: tips for your guides/drivers/staff, bar beverages, laundry service, phone calls, passport and visa fees, souvenirs, and travel insurance (if you choose to purchase). Please note: Your pre-departure packet includes a visa application form and information on travel insurance and tipping.

Many of our trips provide opportunities to visit local villages and interact with the people. However, if your itinerary does not include these visits, you’ll still gain valuable local insight from your expert guide, a native of Tanzania.

The delicious cuisines of Tanzania are a tasty yet amazing blend of the best of Swahili flavours with the best western, Arabic, and Indian cuisines. With the many foreign rulers and travellers who visited this country in the past (as the country was part of the Silk-route), the taste of almost every culture is experienced in Tanzanian food. We will provide you with personalised taste of Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-free, Gluten-free and other special dietary needs that can be accommodated with advance intimation.

Yes you can surely bring your children on Safari. But you must be aware of the minimum age restrictions at various national parks and lodges which is about 4 and 12 years of age. As all safari activities are not open to children, you must check with our travel exerts regarding the age criteria at the different destinations planned in your itinerary.

Absolutely. Just contact us to start the process. We’ll listen to your needs and give expert recommendations based on your interests, timeline, and budget. Leave the details to us!
